Mission
Pacific Nanotechnology provides products and services that facilitate advances in nanotechnology and nanoresearch. Our products are optimized for research, development, and process control applications when visualization, modification, and measurement of nanometer-sized surface structure is critical.
Key Personnel
Pacific Nanotechnology is managed by individuals with substantial experience in the growth and guidance of advanced technology companies. Present members of the senior technical group include:


Dr. Gary Aden
Gary earned his BS in Chemistry from UCLA and his Ph.D. in chemistry with a specialty in electron microscopy from Arizona State University. He has more than 20 years experience in high tech companies and 15 years experience in general management. He has 10 years experience in successful startups and corporate turnarounds, His previous work experience includes R&D positions at Rockwell BWIP, PGT, & Kevex, & Management experience as President of Kevex Instruments, President & CEO of TopoMetrix, and President of ThermoMicroscopes.


Dr. Paul West
Dr. West began working in the field of probe microscopy and nanotechnology as a post-doc at the California Institute of Technology in 1983 and holds over 20 patents for SPM and Nanotechnology innovations. He has 17 years experience in managing the design, development and marketing of scanning probe microscope instrumentation. Dr. West served on the President’s committee that created the National Nanotechnology Initiative.







Daniel Kleinen
Mr. Kleinen has over 20 years experience in the advanced technical instrument industry. He has filled numerous positions in product management, customer service and sales. Most recently, he was the Vice President of Sales at TM Microscopes, a division of Veeco Metrology.


Chuck Dennis
Mr. Dennis has worked as a senior manager at several companies including Hitachi and ThermoMicroscopes. He has over 25 years experience in senior operations management. His most recent assignment was as the general manager of TM Microscopes, a division of Veeco Metrology.
